This is a traditional dry cured Italian sausage,made of pure bred Berkshire pork that is coarsely ground and then seasoned by the addition of fennel seeds. The distinctive perfume of the fennel creates a hauntingly essence to the finished product. Slightly sweet, decadently delicious . Served thinly sliced with some olives and a glass of pastis or dry sherry as the perfect way to start a meal. Each Sopressata is approximately 1 pound.
