These lambs are NEVER given hormones to stimulate growth. They are NEVER administered antibiotics, NEVER fed any animal based proteins supplements of any kind - EVER!. This is referred to in our industry as a "Never Ever Program." The lambs graze freely and grass feed for up to nine months before harvest.
Free range and free roaming helps make these animals lean, fit and naturally healthy. Grassfed lambs have the mildest, tenderest, most succulent meat of all lamb. Naturally raised lamb is more complex in flavor and typically higher in Omega-3 fatty acids and lower in fat. The lamb may cost a bit more, but in our opinion, it is worth it. Treat the animal better and it will taste better. And for those who think their budget isn't up to this standard, our mantra is "Eat Less but Eat Better!"
