Lava Lake Lamb from Idaho is DeBragga's grassfed lamb, a seasonal animal raised on sustainable family ranches in the Northern Rockies. These lamb come from high mountain pastures- the lamb is lean, tender and has a uniquely mild but distinctive flavor - and provides an unbelievable dining experience.
Grassfed lambs drink mother's milk their entire lives, and graze on wild grasses and flowers, giving their meat a uniquely mild, distinctive flavor that is "of the land." They are never confined in a feedlot and spend their lives grazing in an unfenced wilderness, making them lean, fit and naturally healthy - resulting in the most delicious, tender meat.
Lava Lake Lamb grassfed lamb is only available fresh in season. Because the producers don't use feedlots or grain finishing, the lambs must be raised and harvested during the growing season when they can graze naturally. The result is the most delicious, tender lamb you can buy.
