Leftover Brisket Hand Pies
Wondering what to do with that pan of Brisket? Here’s a fun and easy idea everyone will love.- Prep Time 20 minutes
- Cook Time 20 minutes
Ingredients
-
1 box frozen puff pastry, thawed and rolled out to an 8x11 rectangle
-
2 cups roasted brisket, chopped or shredded
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-
1 egg, beaten, for wash
-
Kosher Salt
-
Freshly ground pepper
-
Everything seasoning
-
Aleppo Pepper (if you have it, great, otherwise don’t bother)
Directions
- Heat over to 400°
-
Cover 2 half-sheet pans with parchment and spray lightly with non-stick spray.
-
With a knife or pizza cutter, cut each pastry sheet into 8 rectangles.
-
Place lengthwise down the center of 4 rectangles 2 T of shredded brisket, top with a bit of salt and pepper and sprinkle with cheese.
-
Take a plain rectangle and lay it over the brisket rectangle and press down gently, using a fork all around the edges to seal them.
-
Lay each hand pie on the parchment, brush with beaten egg, and sprinkle whatever you want on top. I love Bagel Seasoning, and Aleppo Pepper.
-
Bake for 27 minutes until puffy and golden.
-
Enjoy!
