    Memorable Osso Buco

    Made Osso Buco following Chef Lydia’s recipe. Holy cow, they were fantastic. The veggies were insane. Deep meaty yet delicately tender in your mouth. I made a mushroom and sage risotto. Hopefully, my photos are posted! Memorable. Couldn’t get the highest rating to respond.

    High Quality

    The veal shank was beautiful. I cooked the Osso Bucco recipe. If you're going to cook Osso Bucco for your guests and you want it to be "falling off the bone" perfect, I'd suggest adding an additional couple of hours time into your cooking time in case you need it. I initially cooked the dish for 1.5 hours at 325 degrees (as suggested), but the veal wasn't tender yet, so I dropped the oven temp to 200 degrees and continued to cook for 2 more hours and PERFECTION !     Wonderful

    Excellent! braised mine for hours stove top in cast iron. Shanks are nice and thick, and the meat is excellent.
